Forest Fires...

I was hoping we would escape the forest fires that seem to be sweeping through Montana by heading further south and going to Yellowstone in October instead. But, NO.....I log on today to find that the east entrance to Cody has been closed due to fire and that there are others that have sprung up all over the park from lightning.

While I understand that fires in our national parks are normal and natural, I'm going to be a bit selfish and say, 'I don't want them during my vacation!!" heh

Hopefully, they'll be out by then, the temperatures will have dropped, and the trout streams will be reopened. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
