Griz - 29, SHSU- 41

There's nothing quite so disturbing as watching your team go in ranked #1 in the nation and getting spanked by an unranked team. The Griz were thoroughly and soundly trounced on Saturday night by a team that played much better.

I don't think I've seen the Griz miss that many tackles since a debacle back in 1998 at Western Illinois.

Of course, while not making excuses for them, it was also 95 degrees in Texas and they were playing on a fast astroturf surface. In fact, we, the viewing audience, had the pleasure of watching one of the Griz players projectile vomit on the field in the second series of the game.

It was bad. Very very bad.
