Fire....

I was walking along LaSalle street on my way to the train station last night after having mai tai's and sushi with the girls when two firetrucks pulled up right next to me as I was in front of the LaSalle Bank building. My thought was, "Oh, someone has a medical emergency." And I just kept on going.

When I got home Jason had turned on the tv to watch Monday Night Football and lo and behold, there was the LaSalle Bank building.

He: Ohhh....look at that. The windows are blowing out.
Me: I walked right by there at 6:35!
He: Um....they're saying that's what time the fire started.
Me: Hmmm.
He: Big fire + your presence. Why am I not surprised?
